Seen in isolation

Julia Stevenson: SOUTH CRONULLA CIRCUIT. This is a short walk that I'm doing most days. I thought it may be of interest to anyone living in the area who is within driving distance. For better times, the train station is across from Munro Park. (Luckily, for me, our home overlooks the park). It's such a varied, and scenic, walk.

Gunnamatta Park. Those in the area can park on Nicholson Parade (or at the ferry wharf)

Gunnamatta Bay Baths

Gunnamatta Bay (Port Hacking) at low tide

The social distancing police

Darook Park and littoral rainforest on Hungry Point

Bass and Flinders discovered Port Hacking, 1796. (Bundeena and Royal N.P. opposite)

Shelly Park and ocean pool

Continuing along the Esplanade

A sign of the times at South Cronulla beach

Monroe Park. Two blocks to Gunnamatta Park (or ferry wharf) completes the 6km circuit
